Easter Sunday!

We had a great Easter at our church here in Albuquerque! It was the kiddos first so I had to put them in little Easter outfits....I think Avery looks super adorable in my $3 resale find. Who says you need to dish out a bunch of money? Mark said Aksil's outfit would "pass for Easter" but isn't manly enough for other occasions :) Yup, that boy is gonna grow up to be a man! No sissies in the Drigger's House!

Here are a few family shots! Everyone looking at the camera? Yeah, not possible when you are using a tripod and have 3 1/2 month old twins - haha! We are doing really good just making sure WE look at the camera! Yay us!

Our Easter Sunday service was different than any other I've been to! Driscoll gave a short message at the beginning, we had worship, they had a whole choir up there, and lots more instruments than usual - loved it! They focused on baptism and we had so many people get baptised, it was amazing. I'd say there were 25? Maybe more! It was awesome. The place was packed out! People were standing at the back and along the walls. They let all the kids come up to the front to watch and they had people explain to them about baptism...was really neat. Then, towards the end, they released all these super big balloon/balls and people were hitting them around and singing! Like I said, TOTALLY different than any Easter service I've ever been to but I thought it was awesome because it was such a CELEBRATION! And that's what Easter is about! Celebrating and rejoicing in Christ being RISEN! We serve a Savior who is ALIVE! Amen! Thank you Jesus!

Here is a link where you can see a slideshow of our Easter Sunday.

Time for some pictures of the twins! (3 1/2 months old!)

Trying to get the kids to hold their little stuffed bunnies they had! (yup, I'm TRYING to be a creative photographer...ha ha)

"Mommy, it's really bright out here and Daddy isn't going to like pictures of Brother holding a stuffed bunny...."

Ok, I just love this picture! Aren't they so cute side by side, their little feet curled in? I thank God every day for each moment I have with them. We are blessed beyond what we had ever hoped!

Still difficult to try and keep their little heads up :)

Aksil blowing bubbles and looking at the dirt and grass I'd gotten on the blanket.

"Hey Mom, why do you take so many pictures?"

Aksil appears to be giving me "the look!" haha

Daddy's sweet, little princess

Mommy's strong, handsome man!

Right: Avery is starting to suck on her little hands more....and occasionally she finds her thumb! Left: Aksil loves playing with his feet! At this point he couldn't reach them but he loved watching himself kick!

"Hey Mommy! Are we almost done??"

Avery showing off her abs and talking to Aksil :)

"Yeah! We are done!"

So there you go! Way more Easter photos than you ever wanted to look at! It's so much fun celebrating each special holiday, milestone, event with out twins. Great memories.

Cute Easter pictures!! The kids seemed to enjoy being outside. I love the white fence in the background! Is that your backyard?

Thanks! yeah we have a small fenced in area right outside the back door :) It's a perfect little yard for the kiddos! (except I need to plant some grass :)
